I called Garner to make an appointment and they immediately knew who I was and booked the appointment. They showed up right on time and the service was completed thoroughly and quickly. The technician was very friendly and described just what he had done. Later they sent a summary of the visit complete with photos. It was the easiest and most pleasant AC service experience you can have!

Each technician that came out to my house was very respectful of my time. They worked hard to get my system back up and running, crazy how much we rely on our AC's in Texas. Definitely did a great job!

Performed semiannual maintenance on one straight electric cooling system. Inspected all Performance, Mechanical and Safety Systems. Changed out one 20x30x1 filter that Ms. Grayson supplied us with. Verified everything was operating within manufacture’s specifications for operation. Everything is working at this time.
Installed Carrier furnace and condenser. Installed Ecobee Pro thermostat. Removed platform that system was on and replaced with ¾” plywood. Ran line set higher off the ground and supported to the foundation. Ran new low voltage wire to the condenser in EMT. Replaced disconnect and whip for condenser. Ran new low voltage wire to the thermostat. Rebuilt and insulated condensate drain lines. Cleared, treated and verified drain operation. Built new supply plenums to transition to existing trunkline. Replaced a section of collapsed return trunk line with flex duct. Pressure tested line set with nitrogen and pulled a vacuum. Weighed in charge to meet manufacturers specifications.
Performed semiannual maintenance. Inspected all Performance, Mechanical and Safety Systems. Verified that all Stage 3 Breathe Easy Systems and all Surge Protection Devices were operating as designed. I went into diagnostics over the system and found that the contactor coil was shorted. I also found that the capacitor is very weak and out of spec. I brought this to the attention of the homeowner and made her a few repair options. I replaced the contactor and got the system up and running. I also had to replace the blown fuse in the furnace. The system started immediately and started to cool. System is in working order at completion of appointment.
Replaced the condenser. Leveled the condenser pad. Pressure tested with dry nitrogen and pulled a vacuum on the copper line set. Charged the system to factory specs. Swapped the drain pan with a new one and rebuilt the drain to be within code. Flushed the drain line of any possible build up. Checked operation of the system and it is working at this time.

Verified everything was operating within manufacture’s specifications for operation. Everything is working at this time. See attached checklist for full tune-up details.

Verified everything to be operating within manufacture’s specifications for operation. I changed out the locking caps on all systems with new caps and ensured they were tightened down and would not fall off. Everything is working at this time. I made sure to clean the flame sensor. Filter was changed with customer supplied filter. I checked over the heating side of the system and discovered the following: the inducer bearings are starting to fail, and the hot surface igniter has pitting and weak spots. System is in working order at completion of appointment. See attached checklist for full tune-up details.
I went over the system and checked all of the components to find that the system is in stellar shape. The blower motor isn’t leaking oil, the heat strips are working, the blower wheel is clean, and all of the outdoor components are in great working order. No recommendations were made today.

The homeowners mentioned that the master bedroom would get extremely warm when the bedroom door was closed off. I made some adjustment to the damper that supplies the home run duct to the supply grille that is in front of the master bath doorway. I asked them to try it out during the cold spell next week and let us know if they continue having issues. Current filters installed were still in clean condition.
