Helped me solve a problem I had been grappling with for some time -changing my air filters. Worked with me to make sure I understood the process of installing new air filters on my own. Grateful for his insight and problem solving by also installing new air vent covers. All good!
I enjoyed working with their service tech, Eli, on resolving a somewhat tricky problem.
Ethan and his partner were professional and friendly. They installed and explained the new system to me and made sure I was satisfied.
Ethan was here from 6 am until around 5:30 pm. He worked all day in the heat and when the job was done STILL had a great attitude. He was friendly and knowledgeable!
Showed up promptly, were very kind and explained everything. Great service and overall completely satisfied!
Can’t speak highly enough about this team! Everytime and from start to finish they have shown that are top tier. They’ve never pushed more than what I needed, oversold, or done anything other than just been straight forward. Wouldn’t use another company other than Garner!
Super friendly and easy to set up an appointment. They came the next day and talked us through everything they saw. Presented us with options and everything is working well! Definitely recommend!
Great communication via text. Texted that he was on his way. Including a picture. My wife was at the house. He explained everything to her. Paid for service call, parts and labor. We have used Garner in the past and will continue to use going forward.
Omar is very professional and thorough in servicing our a/c system. I highly recommend him for your servicing needs.

Heat check performed on one horizontal gas system. Drain line was flushed and treated. The flame sensor was cleaned. All mechanical and electrical components are within manufacturer specifications. The system is operating properly at time of departure.
Service diagnostic found that the primary drain line was partially clogged. This was tripping the water safety switch intermittently causing the system to shut on and off. I spoke with the homeowner and he chose to have the drain line serviced at this time. I cleared the primary pan. Flushed and cleaned the primary drain and tested it with 2 gallons of water. I then treated the pan and drain line. Function tested the system and it is now operational.
On arrival I spoke with the homeowner who informed me the previous company said they needed to replace their system since there was a hole in it and they are at risk of CO poisoning. She also said she ran it last winter with no issues. I did find a test port on the flue pipe that was not sealed. I sealed it and did not see any other issues with the furnace system. I also walked around the home and my CO detector stayed at 0PPM the whole time. I also did a check on the a/c system and found the outdoor capacitor was left in the box. I secured it with plumbing strap to prevent any electrical damage.
Performed heater tune-up on a Trane gas furnace system. Checked the electrical, mechanical and performance systems of the unit. Cleared, cleaned, flushed and treated the drain line and cleaned the exterior of the furnace. Replaced the return air filter with a client supplied filter. No issues were found. The system is operational at this time.
Diagnostics found the outdoor torque booster had failed. I also found the condenser fan motor is leaking lubricant. I went over repair options with the homeowner and Dennis chose to replace the torque booster today. I replaced the torque booster and cycled the system on to verify proper operation. I also rinsed the condenser today at no additional charge. The system was cooling properly at time of departure
On arrival I spoke with the homeowner, she mentioned the outdoor unit was making a funny tapping noise the night prior, also mentioned she was having a water problem from the air handler closet. I went through the system and found that the fan motor wiring harness terminals had corroded from the motor head connection points. I also found the underside of the evaporator coil was completely matted over in dirt, dust and dog hair and had no air filter installed. The evaporator coil is extremely rusted and corroded as well, I used my electronic leak detector while onsite to check for leaks as well on the coil. I repaired the broken wiring terminal connections and tested system. Verified unit started backed up prior to leaving. The system is running at this time.
Diagnostics found the wiring harness to the compressor was tripping the outdoor breaker. I went over repair options with the homeowner and they chose to rewire the harness to prevent future rubouts. I completed the repairs and cycled the system for function testing. The thermostat was set to homeowners preference and is cooling properly at time of departure.
Service diagnostic found that the outdoor starter was stuck closed and was constantly sending voltage to the outdoor system. I spoke with the homeowner and he chose to have the contactor replaced and to sign up on our gold maintenance plan with the first visit this winter. I replaced the outdoor contactor and function checked the system. I also sealed some air straws at the furnace and secured the outdoor compressor wiring at no additional cost. No other issues were found. The system is operational at completion of service.
Installed new heatpump system. Added new extended supply and RA plenums. Rebuilt drain line with SS-1 and SS-2 safety switches. Added new line filter drier, and pressure tested system for extensive leak check. Pulled deep vacuum, and weighed in factory charge. Everything is working at completion of install.
I spoke to the homeowner about replacing her grills with new ones that are not bent. She decided to have the grills replaced. I picked up the two grills from the shop and returned to the job. I replaced the two filter grills and made sure that she was able to easily open the grills and replace her air filters on her own. The system was running at the completion of service.
Service diagnostic found the primary drain line was clogged. This was tripping the water safety switch and shutting off the outdoor unit. I also found the outdoor fan motor and starter are showing wear and tear. I spoke with the homeowner and she chose to have the drain line cleaned and replace the outdoor fan motor and starter. I completed the work and function tested the system. I also replaced the air filter for the homeowner. All UV lights are working. No other issues were found. The system is operational at this time.
Built and installed new extended supply plenum. Attached and sealed existing flex duct to the new plenum with new collars. Sealed ductwork connections with mastic/hardcast. Sealed all supply buckets to the Sheetrock with foam spray gun. Pulled the blower motor and cleaned wheel/housing. Cleaned evaporator coil. Cleaned out the return chase underneath the air handler. Rebuilt primary drain, cleared with CO2 and primed trap with water. Checked 50/5 condenser capacitor and sprayed js685 inside panel. Tested operation of system. Everything is working at completion of service. Payment Due 9/17/2025
Removed all existing duct work from system. Installed Ecobee lite thermostat. Installed new extended supply plenum. Installed all new buckets and supply registers. Cut in new new supply for the master kitchen, master closet, and the living room. Installed all new flex duct. Sealed all ductwork connections with mastic/hardcast. Cleaned out the return chase underneath the furnace. Cleared primary drain and primed trap with water. Checked condenser capacitor and sprayed JS685. Tested operation of system. Everything is working at completion of work.
I spoke to the homeowner about his concerns. He was wanting to change the UV bulb out in his air purifier located in the supply plenum. He said the company that installed it, had it installed in a portion of the plenum that the bulb was not able to be removed without removing the base of the air purifier. I removed the air purifier base, the homeowner widened the UV bulb slot to allow the bulb to be removed when it is sealed into the plenum. I sealed the base back onto the plenum using air sealant to ensure no air leaks are present. Reset power to system and checked operation of the light. Everything is working at this time.
Service diagnostic found that the contactor on the condenser unit had been destroyed by ants. Options for repair were presented to the homeowners. They chose to have the contractor replaced and to sign up for maintenance. I replaced the contractor and function tested the system. The system is now operational. The system was running at the completion of service.
