Not being an air conditioner repair person I have to take the technician’s word that they did a great job. I thought some of the prices he quoted was way out of the ball park. Thought Mr Torres was a pleasant guy and courteous.

Great Experience

Max came to our house on a Saturday and quickly diagnosed the the problem. Options and prices were given to do a temporary repair verses replacement of the entire system. The installation team arrived promptly as scheduled. Technicians paid attention to every detail of the job and thoroughly cleaned their work areas when finished. After final testing, Ryan went over each process that they had performed and gave an explanation of the warranty, system operation and maintenance requirements. Overall experience was excellent and I highly recommend Garner Heating & Air Conditioning.

Great service.

The tech changed a start capacitor. Should have been a nominal $150-$200 repair. Took him 5 minutes tops as I had removed access panel already. Before he started the 5 minute changeout, he presented me with 5 options ranging as high as nearly $700 for “extras” like repairing burned wires (seriously? an extra?) and etc. Top (his recommended) price was nearly $700. My experience was overall good but only because I’m an educated buyer. I did not appreciate the blatant upsell attempt. You all have been better than that before now.

Air Conditioning System Replacement Service near Ranch to Market Rd 150. During a routine maintenance check-up, we discovered that the client's air conditioning unit was in need of replacement. Today, we arrived to install the new system, meticulously removing the old unit from the home. Carefully installing the new system, we thoroughly checked all components to ensure proper operation. The new A/C system is now functioning in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, providing reliable cooling for the client.

Performed semiannual maintenance on two heat pump cooling systems. Inspected all Performance, Mechanical and Safety Systems. While inspecting the upstairs system, I noticed the refrigerant charge to be low. Homeowners mentioned that the previous company that came out recharged the system but was unable to locate the leak. I used my electronic leak detector and located a significant leak inside the indoor fan coil. Also used bubble leak detection to confirm leak. Showed the homeowner the leak as well and we agreed the leak needs to be resolved. Flushed and treated all drain lines and drain pans. All air purification systems are on and operational at the time of departure. Changed two 20x25 F100 filters provided by homeowner. We decided to move forward with replacement of the indoor coil and install surge protection devices on both air handlers and the downstairs heat pump. Replaced the indoor coil on the upstairs unit. Removed the old refrigerant and old inline filter dryer.

Began replacing ductwork for three system reduct. Installed new media filters underneath air handlers and insulated upstairs chase in attic. Installed new supply plenums and ran new flex duct. Added new buckets and supply registers. Added new extended supply on system one and installed new filter base. Added new buckets and flex ducts and sealed all pressure points with air lock. System operating at this time.

HVAC Repair near Ranch to Market Rd 150. Arrived to perform repairs on a client’s HVAC system and found the refrigerant was low. Refilled the refrigerant to the manufacturer’s recommended levels and was able to get the system up and running again. I replaced the filters on the system before leaving.

HVAC Maintenance near Heitzler Ln. It was time for the spring maintenance check-up so we came out to the residence to check on the system. When I arrived at the home, I carefully looked over all components of the client’s HVAC system to ensure it is operating well and will continue to serve them as time goes on. The only issue that was noted was a clogged condensate line, so I cleared it out and now everything is working great!

The Westside unit evaporator coil is showing signs of mold. The Eastside unit 1 condenser fan motor is showing signs of overheating and Eastside unit 2 evaporator blower has buildup on the blower wheel. No other major issues were found. Presented a list of repairs to the homeowner and she decided to move forward with mandatory and near future repairs.

On arrival, I found the system completely flat on refrigerant. I had to add refrigerant into the system to be able to run my electronic leak detector across the coil. Did find a leak at the service valve of the outdoor heat pump. Also inspected the indoor coil and found the coil to be extremely rusted and corroded. I recommended to the homeowner that we replace the indoor coil, replace the outdoor valve and recharge system back to factory specifications to return to 100% cooling and heating capacity. I also recommend installing our Stage 1 & 3 Breathe Easy Packages to keep the complete HVAC system clean, as there are signs of microbial growth inside the indoor air handler. Installed new indoor coil and rebuilt and insulated condensate drain. Also installed Stage 1 & 3 Breathe easy packages. Replaced the outdoor valve and charged system to factory specs. System is working properly at time of departure.
