Performed first annual cooling/summer maintenance on (2) 2017 Day & Night heat pump split systems. One serves upstairs and one downstairs. Upstairs air handler in closet. Changed 20x30 filter underneath and cleared condensation drain. Downstairs unit air handler in garage attic, tested condensate pump, changed (2) 14x30 upper wall filters in dining room. Cleaned out electrical compartments. Condensers on side of home. Cleaned condenser coils. Checked amps, volts, start and run capacitors, refrigerant charges, and temperature splits. Both systems are cooling properly at time of service. Found 40uf compressor capacitor at 1.7uf and reading 0 amps. Recommended and replaced capacitor to prevent compressor damage.
