2024 platinum split heat pump #EYHF had error code 126 comm error. Checked summary table and found outdoor unit offline. Checked comm voltage and had 12.15vdc. Checked all wiring connections and all are tight and secure, no rubouts etc. cycled power to indoor and outdoor units. After cycling power thermostat displayed system cooling, cool on, 100% compressor demand , but fault code 126 still at top of thermostat. Checked outdoor unit and CDA blank, checked DC at bus bar and 0vdc and should be over 240vdc. Found bad 25 amp fuse. Replaced fuses and cda display returned . Error code gone , system is now up and cooling properly , 22 degree split. Will send over quote to cut in new supply duct run for kitchen pantry. Room on plenum and access to area. Paid by check.
