Commercial Blast Freezer Repair near S Baltimore St. When we got a call from a commercial client regarding their blast freezer that was not operating, we quickly came out to assist. When I arrived at the business, I promptly got to work addressing the client's issue. After inspecting the blast freezer, I determined the cause of the performance failure to be a faulty compressor. I replaced the compressor in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, and the blast freezer was up and running again in no time. The client was grateful to have a functioning freezing unit in their establishment.

Arrived at location on 7/15/22 - Let unit produce the batch of ice it was in middle of making. I then turned the unit off and removed all removable parts from water side of unit. Cleaned and sanitized parts. I then cleaned and sanitized the inside of the unit. I put the parts back into the unit and let the unit run its 30 minute clean cycle. After the clean cycle I turned the unit back on and let it produce a batch of ice and discarded the batch. I notice that the unit has a water filtration unit but it fell off of the wall because it mounts with 3m tape. There is no other way to mount the system and I wouldn’t trust taping it back up. We will need to quote for a new water filtration system that we can mount with bolts or screws to either the machine or the wall. Unit is now running properly except the filtration system is hanging off of the unit.

Arrived at location on 5/5/22 - kitchen was at 84 degrees. Compressor was encased in ice like it was getting liquid flood back. Went to air handler in attic and found unit running but A-Coil was encapsulated in ice. This was restricting airflow which was causing the flood back. Turned heat on to thaw out coil quicker. As it was draining I noticed that drain was backing up. Blew out with CO2 and it cleared some debris out. Once coil was defrosted I cycled unit on and monitored pressures and supply/return temperatures. Found that pressures were low for current ambient temperature. Used manufacturer psychometric chart and added 2lbs of 410A refrigerant. Performed leak test with electronic leak detector and could find none at air handler or condensor. It appeared some work was performed on it and I am uncertain that correct charge was placed in. Room began dropping in temp and it will take some time for it to reach setpoint. I spoke with Jessica about the current temp setting

Condenser unit is on order at United Harrisburg I spoke with John and he will let me know the availability of unit when he finds out. Returned to location on 3/22/22 - Replaced condenser unit, checked for leaks with nitrogen and found none, vacuumed which held for fifteen minutes. Recharged system with factory amount of 134A, waited for unit to come down to temperature and is working properly at this time.
