AC maintenance on new Bosch system. Change 20 x 30 filter located in hallway. Cycled system from ecobee thermostat. Thermostat is operational. Checked temperature rise and pressures. could not run system too long clients are still using their heat and ambient temperature is 52°.
Upon arrival found controllers for mini splits were in cooling mode. Switched all head units for both systems into heating mode and turned on all six head units. Checked filters and temperature splits, all units were delivering a 30 degree heat rise. Client was not here, there may be an issue with thermostat operation. Called and left voicemail advising client to give us a call if they have any more issues with equipment to try and see if we can assist over the phone before coming out for a service call.
Installed 3 Ton Bosch 18 SEER Heat Pump Package Unit with Curb. Job complete. We replaced the curb and sealed the new curb and penetrations as well.
Upon arrival client stated heater not working. Cycled system and found everything running. Found system doesn’t have a temperature split. Checked refrigerant charge and found low pressure. Cycled cooling and found pressures fine. Found reversing valve not receiving voltage. Advised client I need to order control board. Advised will send estimate once I hear from manufacturer.
Performed annual AC maintenance on 2009 American standard rooftop package heat pump. left 20 x 30 by one filter with client. Checked amps, volts, capacitor and cleaned electrical compartment. Check refrigerant levels, superheat, sub, cool, and temperature split. System has a 22° delta T. Flush condensation line and cleaned condenser coil. System is operating and cooling properly at Thomas service. Unable to check thermostat due to client being sick.
Performed annual heater maintenance on 2009 rooftop package heat pump with secondary heating. Checked amps, volts and capacitor also cleaned electrical compartment. Checked heat pump heating and secondary heating. System is operating and heating properly at this time.
Installed original ECM blower motor and cycled system.System is operating properly.
Spoke with Francisco from Howard they do not have original ECM motor in stock. They will have to have one brought in from the factory.
Upon arrival system was calling for cool, but only compressor and condenser fan would operate. With further inspection I discovered system had a faulty ECM blower motor. Installed rescue motor for temporary cooling. I will order ECM motor on Monday. Explain the client we have in hand office will call them and schedule a day and time for new motor installation System at this time
