Work Performed: unit SN*****39R2F. Living room unit • Upon arrival, the client reported intermittent cooling issues with the living room system. She stated that the unit had stopped cooling, then started again after a few hours, ran briefly, and stopped cooling once more. • Both systems were operational at time of arrival. I identified and focused on the unit the client had been experiencing issues with. • Inspected the condenser and found the system was running at maximum amperage, which led me to further investigate. • Found a failed run capacitor causing strain on the system. • Also tested the hard start kit and found it had lost its charge and was no longer functioning. • Noted that a maintenance service had been performed approximately three weeks ago. • Informed the client I would waive the trip charge and treat this as a continuation of the prior service. • Recommended and replaced both the hard start kit and the run capacitor. ⸻ System Condition Upon Completion: •
