This was the first time going through the 5-year Hydo test and Marlon was very patient explaining what was involved. He has great customer skills and a wonderful sense of humor. I would highly recommend him for doing this work.
Would highly recommend. Very knowledgeable and great customer service.
We greatly appreciate the service given. It's allowed us to now know the problem and where to fix it.
Response from Northwest Fire Systems:
Thank you for the wonderful review and for taking the time to share your feedback.
Working with your office team was a huge challenge, but Marlon was very courteous and wonderful to have complete the work. Marlon would have received nothing but 5 stars. The office would be lucky to receive 2.
Three technician did the full service of our extinguishers and fire system.
Never had any issues working with Northwest Fire Systems since I took over my store. They are always friendly over the phone and in person. Whenever something is coming up to be taken care of, they contact well in advance so that you're able to plan around their service. They've even gone the extra mile in helping to troubleshoot any recurring issues I've had.
Allec was very friendly, skilled and worked with a big smile. Great man to have on your team. Never let him go! Gary Zink
I was not present during this service due to it being a holiday for our company. Would have preferred knowing ahead of time so dispatch staff would have been prepared and/or possibly change the date to when at least one manager would be onsite. Three stars due to lack of management on site to oversee what occurred.
Always enjoy working with the entire team at Northwest! Very neighborly!
Grinding at Northwest Fire systems Headquarters. Residential fire suppression systems, commercial sprinkler & fire alarm systems, & fire extinguishers
performed a scheduled inspection of their fire sprinkler system. After checking in with the maintenance supervisor, I conducted a thorough examination of the sprinkler components, including the control valves, pressure gauges, and sprinkler heads. During the inspection, I discovered a corroded sprinkler head in the warehouse and a pressure gauge on the main riser showing readings below the required operating range. To resolve these issues, I replaced the corroded sprinkler head with a new one and adjusted the system’s pressure to meet the manufacturer’s specifications. Once the repairs were completed, I performed a flow test to ensure the system was functioning properly. I updated the inspection records, informed the supervisor of the repairs, and recommended scheduling follow-up checks to prevent further issues.
Annual Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Backflow, and Fire Extinguisher Inspection
Conducted an annual fire prevention inspection to ensure compliance with safety standards. Examined all fire extinguishers, checking for proper pressure levels, intact seals, and expiration dates. Inspected smoke detectors and fire alarms, testing functionality and battery life. Evaluated emergency exit routes for obstructions and verified the condition of fire doors. Reviewed sprinkler systems, checking for leaks or corrosion, and tested the alarm valves. This thorough inspection helps maintain a safe environment and ensures all fire safety equipment is operational.
