Sensitivity testing completed. All smoke detectors passed.
Serviced a kitchen hood fire suppression system in a busy restaurant. Cleaned nozzles, checked pressure gauges, and replaced expired chemical agents to maintain fire safety standards.
Installed a new wet pipe sprinkler system in a commercial building. First, I mounted the riser assembly, including a 6-inch backflow preventer and flow switch. I then ran Schedule 40 black steel piping throughout the building, ensuring proper spacing of sprinkler heads per NFPA 13 guidelines. Each sprinkler head was positioned for optimal coverage in high-risk areas, including storage rooms and hallways. After installation, I pressurized the system and tested it for leaks. The fire alarm control panel was integrated with the system to monitor for any sprinkler activations, ensuring full operational readiness.
Upon arrival configuration error showing on panel. Updated the firmware on Node 4, Node 5 and Node 1. Trouble cleared, remaining troubles are coming from the beam detectors. Likely dirty lens or reflectors. Updated the customer and let them know about the beam detectors.
Replaced smoke detector inside L1 main shop with customer stock. Trouble cleared, system is online and normal.
