Performed cooling maintenance on two heat pump systems. Checked all electrical, mechanical and performance of both systems. Cleared and treated both drain lines and washed both outdoor coils. Customer supplied filters for replacement. While performing the maintenance I found the capacitor at the condenser for the upstairs system had ruptured. I informed the homeowner, and she chose to have the capacitor replaced at this time. I completed the repair and also replaced the burnt wire connections. I then cycled power at the thermostat. No other major issues were found. Both systems are operational at this time.
