HVAC Duct Repair: A client reported fluctuating temperatures throughout their home. Upon inspection, we identified loose and damaged ductwork as the issue. After carefully repairing and sealing the ducts, airflow and temperature consistency were restored, creating a comfortable living space.
Performed semiannual maintenance on one heat pump heating system. Inspected all Performance, Mechanical and Safety systems. Tested and verified everything was operating within manufacture specifications for operation. Everything is working at this time.
Performed the heater tune-up on two Carrier heat pump systems. Checked electrical, mechanical and performance systems of the units. Cleared, cleaned, flushed and treated the drain line and cleaned the exterior of the air handler. Replaced all filters for the homeowner and sealed them with tape to prevent any air bypass. I verified static pressure is within range on both systems. Secured the compressor wiring at both outdoor units. I did find the outdoor capacitor for the system that controls the bedrooms was below value. Homeowner chose to have the capacitor replaced at this time. I replaced the outdoor capacitor for the system that controls the bedrooms and the cycled power. Both systems are operational at the time of departure.
Air Conditioning Repair Service – I responded to a call about an air conditioner that would not turn on. Upon inspection, I discovered a faulty contactor switch, which was preventing the unit from receiving power. After replacing the contactor, I tested the system to ensure it cycled on and off correctly. This repair restored the cooling capabilities of the unit and the homeowner's comfort.
Completed duct work. Installed new supply and return plenums. Ran new flex ducts. Installed new buckets and sealed with mastic air lock. Sealed return to the existing return air filter grille. System operational.
HVAC System Repairs: I was called to inspect a heating system that wasn’t providing adequate warmth. I discovered the system’s heat exchanger was cracked, posing both efficiency and safety risks. After replacing the heat exchanger, I restored safe and efficient heating just in time for the colder autumn months.
HVAC System Repair: After investigating temperature inconsistencies in the client’s HVAC system, I calibrated the thermostat to ensure accurate readings. This adjustment resolved the temperature irregularities and improved energy efficiency, keeping the home comfortable throughout the autumn months.
Performed a diagnostic on the system and I found that the drain line is clogged which tripped the water safety switch and shut off the outdoor unit. I presented options for repair, and the homeowner chose to have the drain cleared at this time. I cleared the drain and tested it with two gallons of hot water. I also treated the drain line. I did notice the sink it runs into is not draining properly and water is backing up at the sink. I recommended that they have a plumber come out and clear the sink drain. I also replaced the air filter for the homeowner.
Whole Home Generator Installation: Installed a whole home generator to ensure an uninterrupted power supply during outages, safeguarding essential systems.
Cool check completed on a horizontal heat pump system. The blower wheel and evaporator coil are both clean. The UV lights and surge protection are both working. The drain line was cleared and treated. The float switch was checked and is operational. The air filter was replaced. The condenser coils were cleaned, and the refrigerant level was checked. All electrical is within manufacture specs. There is no disconnect for the heat pump. No other major issues found.
Comprehensive Indoor Air Quality Improvement: Installed a whole-home air purification system to reduce allergens and contaminants, creating a healthier living environment.
HVAC System Replacement: Replaced an old HVAC system with a high-efficiency unit to improve comfort and reduce energy consumption.
Performed cooling maintenance on one heat pump system. Checked all electrical, mechanical and performance of the system. I did find that the primary drain line was clogged. I was able to clear the drain line by connecting my vacuum to the drain line outside and used the duct straps to loosen any blockage in the drain at the air handler. I then tested the drain with two gallons of water and confirmed it was draining properly. Both UV lights and the air purifier are on and working properly. No other major issues were found, and the system is operational at this time.
Springtime Air Conditioning Tune-Up: Upon arrival at the client's home, I performed a springtime air conditioning tune-up. I inspected the outdoor unit for debris and cleaned the fins for improved airflow. Additionally, I checked the refrigerant levels and tightened electrical connections to ensure optimal cooling performance throughout the summer.
Performed diagnostic. I found that the primary drain line is clogged, and water has backed up onto the water safety switch. I informed the customer, and he chose to have the drain line cleared. I cleared and treated the drain line and tested the drain with 2 gallons of water. I confirmed the system is now draining properly. System is operational at this time.
