On arrival, the customer informed me that his thermostat was blank and not working. After inspecting the system, I found that the high voltage wire nuts at the furnace had melted and was not providing any voltage to the system. I stripped back the wire and added the wire nut to the connections. **This is covered under Garner AC warranty.** As I started up the system, I found that one of the supply duct connections had come apart. I informed the customer and presented options for repair on the duct. He chose to have the duct sealed and would also have a cooling maintenance completed today. I secured the duct connection with duct straps and duct tape. Checked all electrical, mechanical and performance of the system. No other major issues were found. The system is operational at this time.
