Performed AC cool check. Checked electrical, mechanical, safety, and performance of the system. The air handler and blower wheel are clean. Drain line was cleared and treated. I sealed up a small air leak in the air handler where the signal wiring penetrates the unit. Air filter was replaced with a customer supplied filter. UV light and surge protector for the furnace are both operational. The condenser capacitor is below value. Disconnect is in good condition and the surge protection is operational. Condenser fan motor and contactor are both in good condition. Condenser coil clean. No other major issues were found. Options for repair were presented to the customer and they chose to have the condenser capacitor replaced today. I replaced the capacitor on the condenser unit and function checked the system. System was running at the time of departure.
