1st trip – Performed diagnostic and found mini split blower wheel caked with dust and debris causing lowered cooling efficiencies and drainage issues. Outdoor condenser also building up debris and dust. Customer would like to have wheel head and condenser cleaned. Payment collected and we return next week to complete the repairs. Also, this mini split is on a two-zone head and we will address second head when we return. 2nd trip – While preforming cleaning I found traces of oil. I completed a leak check and found a leak in the coil. I discussed my findings with the customer presented options for head replacement. System has been cleaned and is operational. The replacement head is on backorder with Carrier but if customer moves forward with head replacement, a $200 credit will be issued on the work. We will send an estimate for the work, prior to the credit, to the customer.
