... which was to get my A/C back online as quickly and inexpensively as possible, which was accomplished. You certainly hope you don't have trouble with your A/C unit but when you do, you must expect to pay something for it! Would be nice if they had showed you a verifiable "industry average" cost for the work performed on their digital device so that you can feel "ok" about a cost that A) might seem unreasonable relative to the level of effort/time to accomplish it and B) I don't feel like I need to "shop" for the best price on the service. Because frankly, when our A/C is down, the company already KNOWS we're likely to pay whatever the cost is to have it repaired immediately! That's why showing that sort of data would make feel AWESOME about great service. I feel the same way about auto repair in many respects.
