Punctual & knowledgable

Scott was at our house earlier than predicted which was a tremendous help in getting our a/c unit running again. Scott was experienced enough in a/c unit issues to correctly diagnose and fix the problem quickly and correctly. We would recommend Scott to others.

Outstanding Service!!!

One often wonders if the radio commercials you hear and smile about, truly reflect the service you will be receiving. With Alaskan Air, it was spot on. The entire process was seamless from the first contact to the last handshake. (The first contact was on Father's Day Sunday around 7:30pm, the service tech was there within an hour) Every technician that came to the house was knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. I was under a very short time window to get this done, and Alaskan Air made it happen with a day to spare. I couldn't be happier. Cheers to all the Polar Bears at Alaskan Air!! Thank you!

High electric bill

I guess the second time is literally the charm. I was not satisfied with the first technician. So I requested a second opinion. Josh came out and checked thoroughly check the system. He verified the issue, in a lot more detail, and gave me several options for a solution. The solution I chose was pricey, but the alternatives had the potential to double the quoted price. Josh serviced the unit and it’s been running fine for a week now. My electric bill had skyrocketed, but now it’s back to where it was, before the first service call. That first technician was young and in my opinion, needs some polishing in communicating, professionalism and experience.

Greatly disappointed

I was told I needed a voltage enhancement which costed $561. He did that and my AC unit worked the same as before. Not great. Then after "fixing" that he told me I needed more coolant with a sealant for $1387. Which worked... for now. So the first diagnose didn't fix the problem but I still got charged for it. I wasn't shown the "failed" part. They can tell you anything if you don't know HVAC, which I don't. but I do have common sense. Bottom line is, it's over 100 degrees out so you are at their mercy and they know it.

Outstanding Customer Service!

Professional, courteous, efficient, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves! The entire team of Earl and Ken, (Evaluation and Financing), as well as Damek and Gavin (Install team). We bought our last 2 AC units from another company and we were completely dissatisfied. These gentlemen addressed all our concerns, listened intently to our wants and needs, answered all our questions, and were responsive for scheduling. I received a call from a customer who reported that their power was out. I arrived at the customer's home and found that the power was out in the entire neighborhood. I checked the main power box and found that the power line had been damaged. I called the power company and reported the issue. The power company sent a crew to repair the power line. After the power was restored, I checked the customer's electrical system and found that the service disconnect had been knocked off the wall. I reattached the service disconnect and tested the electrical system to ensure it was working properly. The customer was very grateful for the quick and efficient service.

The customer called in to report that their air conditioner was not cooling. I arrived at the customer's home and performed a series of diagnostic tests to determine the cause of the problem. After troubleshooting, I determined that the compressor was not working properly. I replaced the compressor and the air conditioner is now cooling properly.
