02/20/2026- I arrived on site to find the nest thermostat in the guest bedroom to be faulty, causing the unit to only heat due to not sending voltage to the reversing valve. The customer had a replacement thermostat here and wanted me to install that. After I replaced the faulty thermostat with the customer provided smart thermostat, I programmed and configured the new thermostat to the existing equipment. I tested every mode of operation and verified that the new thermostat is functioning correctly in every setting. This unit is functioning and cooling properly now that the thermostat has been replaced.
