Service diagnostic found that the condensation drain line was clogged. Water was backing up into the safety switch and shutting down the system. I also found that the capacitor for the condenser unit was below value. Options for repair were presented to the homeowner. He chose to have the drain line cleared, the capacitor replaced, and to sign up for maintenance with the first maintenance starting this fall/winter. I replaced the capacitor on the condenser unit and cleared the condensation drain line. I then flow tested the drain with two gallons of water. Clear water was observed flowing out of the drain line. I also treated the drain line. I function tested the system and the system was running at the completion of service.
