Arrived at the site to find that the heat pump was not providing adequate heating, with the system repeatedly tripping the breaker. After a thorough inspection, I discovered that the compressor's capacitor had failed, causing an electrical overload. I replaced the faulty capacitor, reset the system, and ensured the heat pump was running smoothly, restoring efficient heating to the home.
Air conditioning repair at a residential home. Arrived to find the unit blowing warm air due to a refrigerant leak. After locating the damaged section of the refrigerant line, I sealed the leak and recharged the system with the proper refrigerant levels. With the repair complete, the unit was restored to optimal performance, providing cool air once again.
Customer called because their heating system wasn’t producing warm air. Found that the blower motor was faulty preventing proper airflow. The motor was replaced promptly, and the system was tested to ensure the heat was restored. The furnace is working properly again for the home.
Performed service diagnostic. Diagnostic found that the drain line was clogged. The blower wheel is also dirty and the capacitor for the blower motor is below value. Options for repair were presented to the customer. He chose to have the drain line cleared and the blower motor capacitor replaced. He also chose to have the blower wheel cleaned. I cleared the drain line and flow tested the drain with two gallons of water. I replaced the blower motor capacitor and cleaned the blower wheel. System was function checked and is running at the time of departure.
