Performed cooling maintenance on 2005 York split system. Fau in inside closet. Cleaned condensing coil. Changed filter with fau. Cleared condensation drain. Checked Refrigerant pressures, superheat, subcool and temperature split were ok. Outdoor compressor pulling high starting amps 165 when rated for below 150 suggest compressor saver kit to reduce stress on motor. Equipment is operational at this time, advise equipment is past life expectancy 18 years old.
