The toilet had a leak from the fill valve, indicating worn or failing components. We recommended replacing the toilet seal, fill valve, and supply line to stop the leak and ensure reliable, leak-free operation. Shut water off to toilet, vacuumed water from tank and removed existing fill valve supply line and toilet flapper. Cleaned all surfaces and installed new toilet fill valve, braided stainless supply line and toilet flapper, adjusted fill level of valve to match water fill line for tank. Flushed toilet numerous times to verify proper operation and to check for leaks with no leaks present and toilet operating properly. Applied blue dye tablet in tank to verify proper operation of flush seal with no water leaking into bowl after 20 minutes.
