For this job, we installed a like-for-like 3/4 HP batch-fed garbage disposal to replace the existing unit that was no longer functioning. We also installed a new chrome Delta shower valve and verified that all connections were properly secured. After completing the work, we tested the operation of both the garbage disposal and the shower valve, confirming that everything functioned correctly and that no leaks were present.

Arrived onsite to diagnose a no-heat issue. When the air filter was removed, the furnace operated properly. After reinstalling the air filter, the flames went out and the furnace displayed a code 57 (pressure switch open). I found a plastic hole cover missing, which separates the fan compartment from the burner compartment. After reinstalling the cover, the unit ran properly. The system only has one return, and I believe the insufficient return air was creating excess pressure and pulling air through the intake and exhaust venting. To correct this, I installed a 12x12 return grille in the mechanical room. The system is operating properly at this time. The tankless water heater’s display is broken. I contacted tech support, and they will send a replacement display to the customer once it is off backorder. I advised them to call us when they receive the part so we can install it. The water heater is functioning properly aside from the display. All work today is covered under Jerm’s 1

I was informed that the customers were getting a bed smell at their primary bathroom sinks. I was unable to recreate the smell but customer said it’s intermittent on both hot and cold. I took tests at the pressure tank and at the sinks. I looked in the toilet tanks. There are signs of manganese and or magnesium in the older toilets. Customer has a newer water heater. They do have an anode rod. I also introduced thrift drain cleaner into the drain and overflow. This is a no charge because I believe it is not necessary, but I am using it as an investigative tool to rule out the smell being from the drain. I recommend a comprehensive lab tests in the water to see what possible issues there are that could cause that smell.

Arrived on site to perform an annual tune up on a propane boiler. After our initial inspection we provided an estimate for the work to be done. It was accepted. We began the tune up which included inspecting the heat exchanger, igniter, and flame sensors. All components looked good as the igniter and flame sensor was replaced last year. We then checked gas pressures and amp draw of the internal circulator. Everything was within range. We also performed a combustion analysis to verify the system is operating properly and safely. Thank you for your business!

I am a skilled professional that works for a Jerm's Plumbing, Heating & Air company. I recently completed an annual tune-up on a propane furnace. This involved cleaning the burners, heat exchanger, igniter, flame sensor, condensate trap, checking all safety controls, venting, fans, and overall furnace operation, bubble-testing the gas line, and checking carbon monoxide levels. I also verified that the system was operating properly at this time.

Arrived onsite to investigate a boiler leaking from the relief valve. During a thorough evaluation, I found that the expansion tank had failed, which was causing the relief valve to discharge. The tank was replaced in 2022 and is still under its 5-year manufacturer warranty. I presented an estimate for the labor to replace the expansion tank, and the customer approved the work. Replaced the tank and verified proper operation. The system is working correctly at this time.

Kitchen Drain Line Repair: -A section of the kitchen drain line was replaced due to ongoing leaks and repeated clogging issues. The existing 2" ABS drain exhibited significant back-pitch and had been previously patched with PVC, which failed to bond correctly and resulted in additional leakage. -Approximately 20 feet of Sheetrock was removed to access the affected piping. All insulation within the repair area was removed and stored in the garage for reinstallation. Only one pipe hanger was found supporting this length of pipe, with the beam serving as the only additional structural support. -Twenty feet of ABS piping was cut out and removed. Sections of the line were found to be completely filled with standing water and food grease. -New blocking was installed every four feet to properly support the replacement pipe and ensure correct pitch. -The new line was tied into the existing pipe coming through the floor using a standard 90° fitting due to pitch limitations. Arrived on site and performed an evaluation and assessment of Angela’s Haier mini split system. The system was installed 5 years ago and has had consistent problems since installation. The downstairs bedroom unit consistently shows an F41 error code, and Angela has to cycle power at the outdoor unit every time to resolve it. The unit is question is a 24k btu 3 head outdoor unit and it is hooked up to a 9k indoor head. There is 12k head that is hung on the wall in the downstairs but has never been connected to the unit. Angela would like to relocate this head to the upstairs bedroom and have it connected to the available space on the unit. I spoke with Haier technical support and they confirmed that the current set up is not correct, and that F41 error code is a result of the not having enough heads on the outdoor unit. They also verified that it is connected to the wrong ports on the unit and will need to be moved in order to achieve proper performance. I will be providing an estimate

Arrived onsite to investigate a no-heat issue on a mini split system with one outdoor unit and two indoor units. I ran the system on high heat and experienced a P6 error code. I presented an estimate to diagnose the code, but they decided to hold off for now since they have another heat source available. I also provided estimates to clean the mini splits in the spring and to replace the thermostat on the downstairs fireplace.

Removed the failed well tank and installed a new WX203 tank. During installation, a significant amount of sediment buildup was observed in the plumbing lines. After completing the tank installation, we installed a homeowner-supplied water filter and tested the system for proper operation. While testing, we noticed sediment quickly collecting in the kitchen sink line after removing the pull-down sprayer head. The homeowner also pointed out sediment buildup in the tub used for draining the system. When testing the tub, the Moen 1222 shower cartridge was found to be completely packed with sediment, allowing only a minimal trickle of water. The cartridge was removed, requiring drilling and breaking due to being seized in place. Once removed, the shower wall opening was stuffed with rags, and the water was turned on to flush sediment from the lines and valve, which resulted in filling the tub with sediment as the system was cleared. A new Moen 1222 cartridge was then installed, and the wa
