Installed a new high-efficiency Thermal Pride furnace and removed and properly disposed of the existing unit. Connected the furnace using the existing electrical and thermostat wiring. Installed a new concentric vent through the existing roof jack. Installed a new gas valve and sediment trap. Ran condensate piping beneath the trailer, terminating at the exterior side; piping was insulated and secured with appropriate hangers. Informed the homeowner of the potential risk of condensate line freezing due to exterior routing. Converted the furnace burners to LP using the appropriate orifices from the conversion kit and adjusted gas pressures to the manufacturer’s specified requirements. Tested furnace operation and verified proper functionality at this time. During installation, it was discovered that the blower motor was damaged from the factory. Although the unit remains operational, a return visit will be required to replace the blower motor at a later date.

Winterize system by draining it down, blowing out water lines, and pumping a mixture of anti freeze and water into the system to prevent freezing in the lines. Jeremy- We winterized the heating system. We blew compressed air through the heating loop several times to clear as much water as possible. I removed and drained the expansion tank, disconnected the boiler fill valve and drained the pipe leading up to it. I blew compressed air through the boiler and domestic plate exchanger. Dan-I blew compressed air through the water lines at the pressure tank, on the washer machine valve on the hot side, and through the washer valve on the cold side. I then pump a solution of diluted antifreeze through the lines and blew air through the lines again after this. I then removed the sediment filter housing, poured antifreeze into the toilet tank and bowl, shower trap, kitchen sink trap, lav trap, and washer drain trap. Payment must be collected

I arrived at the customer's home to diagnose a no-heat issue on a Buderus propane boiler. Upon inspection, I found black soot around the pilot assembly and discovered that the pilot line had broken off at the nut. I replaced both the pilot line and the thermocouple and bubble-tested the pilot and gas line, which resulted in no leaks. I also checked CO levels, which were normal. I verified that the system was operating properly. I emailed estimates to perform an annual tune-up, replace the relief valve, and enroll the customer in Jerm's home care club.

Arrived on site to investigate a propane boiler with intermittent heat. The homeowners previously had another company look at the issue, and they were told the boiler needed to be replaced. The boiler is a 12-year-old Rinnai wall-hung high-efficiency unit. I explained that this model does not have a strong reputation for longevity compared to other wall-hung high-efficiency boilers. The boiler had an E 02 error code ( no flame forming ). I reset the boiler and it fired and ran while I was there. They said that it keeps going out on an error code. I presented options to diagnose the issue and to replace the leaking and corroded expansion tank. The homeowners decided they would prefer to winterize the house for now and plan to replace the boiler next year.

-Customer wanted system winterized. During inspection of the house customer said the boiler was having issues. I found a leak on the boiler. Before I can winterize the domestic the boiler needs to be inspected. I can not leave the water off while the system is leaking. We need a heat tech to either fix the furnace or winterize the heating system if the system needs to be replaced. Once this is done I can winterize the domestic side.

Upon arrival customer had a leak in their wall and a leaking sillcock. Tech removed old sillcock and disposed of it. Tech installed new frost free sillcock and used silicone on the back of the sillcock to seal the hole. -Tech then cut through the back of the wall to access leak. Tech found that water was coming from the shower arm. Tech removed shower arm and adapter going into shower arm. Tech then installed a drop ear 90 and adapted it to pex. No leaks present at time of service. -Tech caulked bottom of shower as a courtesy
