Findings: The left-side basket strainer and tailpieces were corroded, and the existing drain piping exhibited improper pitch, which could lead to drainage issues and potential leaks. Recommendations: We recommended replacing the corroded components and correcting the pipe pitch to ensure proper drainage and prevent future leaks. Work Performed: All existing tubular drainage components, including the P-trap, tee fitting, tailpieces, and basket strainer, were removed. All connection surfaces were cleaned thoroughly. A new basket strainer was installed using plumber’s putty and securely tightened. New tailpieces, a tee fitting, a tubular connection from the garbage disposal, a tailpiece extension, and a P-trap were installed using thread sealant on all gaskets and tightened securely. Both sink basins were filled completely and drained to test for leaks. No leaks were observed at this time, and the drainage system is currently operating properly
