Job Checkin

Customer reported that their newly installed oil-fired furnace was producing louder noises than the previous unit. Upon inspection in the furnace room, no unusual noises were heard. On the first floor, no noise was detected; however, a slight whistling sound was noticeable on the second floor. When the rear furnace door was removed, the whistling noise became quieter. Inspected the return ductwork from the second floor and found it to be in need of cleaning. Advised customer to have the ducts professionally cleaned to determine if this resolves the issue. If the noise persists after cleaning, we will consider adding a return in the basement to improve airflow balance. All equipment is currently operating properly. No work performed at this time.
