Had Schuelke Plumbing out to replace our water heater in cherry valley. Great company and good pricing
I have used this company before for other plumbing service and they are great. This time they removed my existing fiberglass bathtub unit and replaced it with a brand new one. They got everything done in one day, to include the drywall patching all with their own employees! They have a lifetime customer!
Quick service on a Sunday afternoon. Replaced my entire water service from the meter to the front of the house. Clean and professional service. Definitely recommend them.
Customer had a leak in her water service near water meter. Previous plumber did a temporary repair that had failed. Cut out section of pvc and plumbed in new section.
Was able to clear customers clog from roof access on vent. Ran camera and customer had lots of grease in line causing the clog. Was able to flush out most of the grease. Also noticed customers kitchen line was detected at a no hub under the house. The connected line for customer. Recommended if customer continues to have clogs to perform hydrojeting.
Customer had several things around the house she wishes to have estimates for Replaced all of Customers faucets as well as hand towels in both bathrooms. Customer had mold growth in left master bathroom faucet cabinets. Did not see any active leaks and drywall was dry. I believe it was from an old leak. Did surface treatment of mold but recommend doing proper remediation in order to remove all mold in area.
Customer had mold testing that came back positive. Wishes to have estimate for mold remediation. Performed mold remediation in designated areas that where tested and came back for mold in bathroom and laundry room. Demoed customers shower as well as flooring in upstairs bathroom and removed large portion of ceiling in laundry room. Upon demoing bathroom we noticed majority of the mold was behind and around shower and for the laundry room most of the mold was on the drywall that ran along the floor joist. Performed surface treatment to studs and wood framing as well as fogging each of the rooms and entire house. Performed air testing in these areas as well. Recommended to customer to have an independent company come out and perform testing as well if they wish.
Customer wished to have drywall patched beneath kitchen sink. Patched drywall behind customers sink. Customer stated that they would paint the drywall themselves.
Typed up estimate to have plumbing work done.
Customer had a leaking kitchen faucet which causes water damage and mold growth under kitchen cabinet. Gave customer two options for remediation. The best option being removing customers cabinets and counter tops in order to better access the damaged drywall and cabinets and make sure we are able to remove all damaged material. The second option being removing only the visible damaged drywall behind the cabinet and treating the mold the best we can from there. Customer decided to go with second option and only remove the visible damaged drywall and doing a surface treatment on remaining material.
Water leak in the master bathroom caused extensive water damage. The leak was fixed and water damage mitigation was performed. The bathroom was then repaired per the estimate approved by the insurance company. During the repairs, another leak in the pipe that feeds the hot water side of the shower valve was located and fixed.
Customers 50 gallon electric water heater was leaking. Drained water heater to prevent water heater from leaking further. Recommended replacing water heater for between. Quoted between $1600-$1800 to replace water heater. Replaced customers electric water heater with new Bradford white 50 gallon water heater. And installed expansion tank to bring it up to code
Inspected customers water heater and didn’t see any major issues. Previous owner had installed new water heater as well as installed new shut off valve for the water heater also. Water heater was working properly and didn’t have any leaks. Only issues found with water heater was that water heater did not have a sediment trap for gas line. Also checked customers pressure entering the house and was right about 68psi, which is with in the recommended range. We recommend no more than 70-75psi. (Could not find a pressure regulator) Inspected customers hallway sink drain, in order to replace accordion section and install a drain stopper we will need to re-plumb all drains under sink. To do this customer will be looking at about $215.00
Performed camera inspection of customer drain for washer machine. Did not see any obvious issues with drain line. Drain was 2” abs. Ran water down drain for several minutes and everything appeared to be flowing properly.
Customer had a belly in the kitchen line that was causing the blockage. Recommended fixing belly
