Arrive to perform leak search. On arrival customer showed me to air handler system. Open cabinet and ran system. Immediately found a leak coming off a stem from the evaporator coil. Unit is over 10 years old. Is not under warranty. Informed customer this could be a pricey job. Due to the age of the system, it may be better to put that money towards a new unit. Will give customer pricing for a new coil, but ultimately suggesting he meet with a comfort adviser. Customer agreed to meet with a comfort advisor. They are meeting tomorrow between 5 and 6 PM. Again, urged customer to sign up with plan but customer is admittedly overwhelmed at this breakdown currently. Informed him whichever route He took this plan would be beneficial and would definitely save him money. Customer is again uninterested. Collected payment and signature for today’s work and left.
