Upon arrival checked electrical components, pressures, and drain line. Found a weak dual capacitor, customer decided to move forward on replacing the dual capacitor. Emailed customer. System was left in good working order.
Cycled and inspected equipment. Found power board, noise filter p.c. board, electronic control p.c. board failed. Left system off. Recommend: new control boards
Upon arrival checked motors, electrical components, and pressures on 1 split attic York system and 1 split closet Bryant system. Cleared drain lines and added Nubrite. Replaced 2 Turbo Capacitors and added 2 TAP memberships on new home. Entered equipment information. Customer needs filter ordered for attic system. 2-line 500AB. 19 3/4. X 24 1/4 x 4 7/8 Customer needs UV bulb ordered and replaced which we don't carry (see pics).. Left systems in good operating condition.
Cycled and inspected equipment. Found system slightly low on R410a. Customer declined leak check at this time. Added 3 lbs R410a and left system in good working order.
Upon arrival performed maintenance. Ran system in heat and cool mode. Inspected all electrical components, coils, pressures, filter, and cleared drain lines. Recommended on installing a surge protector to help control the dirty voltage going to the system as well as protect from surges. We did not move forward with that. However we replaced both capacitors as both were reading low. Left system in good working order. Left both systems in good working order.
Cycled and inspected equipment. Found evaporator coil impacted in certain areas causing water to drip off of evaporator coil ( front draw ). Cleaned coil in place and installed a new pure air x whole house germicidal unit to eliminate and prevent bio growth. Left system in good working order. Customer also approved maintenance agreement.
Completed member tune up visit #2 on 4 systems. Cycled and inspected equipment. Installed a new 16x20x1 ( customer supplied ) and 1 20x23x1 which customer paid for $12. Left all 4 systems in good working order. Also alarm was being triggered by electric heater. Cycled heater and problem solved.
Recommended Repairs: This includes the minimum required repair to get your system running today and recommended service items that I noticed also need attention. I am able to complete these tasks today at a discounted rate, shown below. Completed member tune up visit #1. Cycled and inspected equipment. Found dual capacitor weak. Installed a new dual capacitor ( warranty ) and also installed a new surge protector. Left system in good working order.
I found the drain line was restricted, vacuumed out with cleaner twice. I checked pressures, electrical components. I replaced weak compressor run capacitor. I noticed the system is undersized for the house. It also seems like not enough return air. One filter was missing and the other was dirty which I took out and left beside the grill. They will need to get new filters ASAP. I noticed a little bit of growth inside the air handler. On next visit we will monitor. They have a membership with us. I left the system in good working order.
Upon arrival found a clugged drain and an open float switch. There was water on the floor due to a pvc line that wasn't glued properly. Cleared the drain a glued the pvc. Left system running properly. Customer is considering Senior Care Program for both systems.
I performed a maintenance. I checked pressures, electrical components and vacuumed drain line with cleaner. I replaced filters. I installed surge protectors at each condenser..
Performed systems tune up found no issues. Coils are clean and pressures good. Cleared the drain properly. UV bulbs are expired an need to be replaced, Customer approved the quote and is aware that it will take a fiew days for us to receive the bulbs. Note: Order the UV bulbs from JohnStone.
Completed member tune up #1 and replaced the 4â€ filter. I left the system in good running order.
We installed the new mini split one head very well, we ran the line set inside the attic and the core wire as well, we sealed all voids , we left and the unit running on perfectly order
