Uppon my arrival I found water inside the float switch. I cleared therein line and started the unit. I changed the filter and checked the coil. Coil is clean. Uppon further investigation found the dual capacitor extremely low. I got permission to replace with a turbo 200 5 year warranty capacitor. The air handler has a burnt out UV light ( it's the economy UV light). I asked if he wanted to replace but the customer politely declined at this time. I performed start up procedures and left the unit in good working condition. The customer signed up to our maintenance program so he could get the discounts. We need to schedule a tune up soon. I loaded my pictures and equipment information to service titan.

Cycled and inspected equipment. Found compressor over amping and tripping breaker. Left system off. Customer requested quote to replace. Corey is scheduled today 9-11. Informed customer we would refund $79.95 service call fee. Customer wanted to know if we could refund some of the motor cost since she just recently purchased the motor. I informed customer that would be a question for Corey.

Cycled and inspected equipment. Found condenser missing parts ( capacitors ), no access to air handler due to boxes in front of air handler closet, and system is 31 years old. Advised customer we could replace parts but we would not know for sure if other problems could arise due to age and condition of equipment. Left system off for now. *note* advised customer if they move forward with the system replacement we will credit the $79.95 service call fee for today. Scheduled Corey from 5-7 p.m. today to give customer quote to replace. Customer is not cooling. Recommend: new equipment due to cost of repair, age, and overall condition of equipment.
