Tech was good, however diagnosing the problem and fixing the Freon leak took a total of 20 minutes tops. “Leak Search” was a standard $250 and to spot weld a hairline cut in the outside copper tube came with a charge of $350. The spot weld took less than 10 minutes. So, for call fee of $140, Watkins charged me $1,500 for Freon, detect and repair, and pressure testing. Freon costs are somewhat understandable. But $600 for 20 minutes of detect and fix is pure thievery. I would have felt good about a charge of $1,000-$1,100. But $1,640 for a 2 hour job makes me feel like a schmuck.
Knowledgeable, flexible and replied all of my questions.
Found what was malfunctioning fast Explained the problem and had a solution quickly.

Dustin a great job! Very professional & polite.
Top notch company from start to finish.
The tech did a good job but it cost way more than the repair should have been. The cause was a loose wire which caused a short. The furnace was installed less than 2 years ago and wasn't secured properly when installed. I don't feel I should have had to pay as much as I did because it was was a faulty install.
Daniel did an outstanding job, going above and beyond to ensure my HVAC unit was running at peak efficiency. His attention to detail and dedication were truly impressive
Jim was super helpful figuring this all out for me. He answered all my questions and was very timely with his responses. He is also pet friendly as my daughter’s cat sat in his pinhole he was trying to use his laptop. My whole experience was very positive.
