Upon my arrival I spoke with the customers about their concerns with the error code displayed on the comfort control and the system not cooling. Performing my diagnostics I found the system had shut down several times from the low pressure switch. I checked the systems charge and found it to be very low on refrigerant. I performed a couple other diagnostics to verify the systems refrigerant pressure control was metering properly and not restricted. I then spoke with the customers about my concerns and with their approval I recharged the system and installed UV leak dye to locate any leaks on the system. I added in 6lbs of r410a to bring the system back to a proper charge. I tested and verified the system was cooling before competition today. We will need to schedule a return for a UV leak dye search with 1 tech about an hour on the return.
