When we arrived we turned the system on and everything came on properly and ran properly. We tested all the electrical components, refrigerant charge, temperature split and everything was working properly and even brought down the temperature 2 degrees during the hottest part of the day. One thing we found is that the emergency drain pan was full of water. There are no float safety switches on this system which do recommend. I spoke with the client and she said we were good to remove the water and clear the drain lines which we did. I also added a vent after the trap to help the water flow better out of the system. I did let the client know that this system is 18 years old and it could be having issues when working all day long in the heat but as of right now it’s working properly.

Upon arrival, discussed with homeowner concerns of downstairs unit not cooling properly. Upon further inspection, found the condensing unit not coming on due to bad dual purpose voltage enhancement system. Customer approve HN13A. Installed new voltage enhancement system and performed safety and performance test. System working to manufacture specifications at this time 10° sub cooling and 16° delta T at time of departure.

On arrival we performed a 6 month check up on one heat pump system. Flushed and treated water removal system. Washed condenser coil using water. Cleaned and treated electrical cabinet with insecticide. Checked refrigerant pressures and delta T. Verified system safety and performance. System operating up to manufacturer specifications. Upon inspection we noticed the performance enhancement system is no longer operational. Customer would like options emailed over to him.

Found system, turned off with fan and on position as instructed by Centex. Found stand at air handler wet presumably from melter off after coil was frozen due to extremely restricted evaporator coil. Found customer installed I-Flow system at primary drain line. Introduced 1 gallon of water to drain line and found drain to be functioning properly at this time. Discussed pull and clean with homeowner which was quoted in October of last year. Updated quote to HK13C and customer approved. Received down payment office will contact to schedule.

Upon arrival discussed with homeowner concerns of unit not cooling. Situation started in the middle of the night. After further inspection, it was found that the unit was completely void of refrigerant. Homeowner approved leak search. Inserted, high-pressure nitrogen and immediately found leak inside condensing unit due to being audibly noticeable. Found temperature sensor on liquid line loose and chafing copper causing several imperfections and one leak. Performed leak repair via silver flowing by brazing method. Removed existing filter, dryer at air handler and replaced with new bi-flow dryer. Performed system vacuum down to 500 µm and recharge system with 14.67 pounds of R410a. Performed performance and safety test and dialed in subcooling by approach. All systems functioning normally at this time and to manufacture specifications.

Upon arrival discussed with customer home not cooling properly with indoor unit on and outdoor unit off. Upon further inspection found bad voltage enhancement system. Customer opted for HN13A. Warranty credits were applied and customer opted for comfort 1. Concerns were also expressed about half of the mobile home not receiving proper airflow. After further inspection, it is presume that ductwork has become disconnected in the ceiling. Customer will contact us when they are ready to tackle this problem which will include the need for an infrared camera to decide where to cut ceiling open to access ductwork for repair. Important to note that customer expressed concerns that problem started after the installation of the new system in 2020. This condition most likely caused by improperly connected ductwork by manufacture of the mobile home.

upon my arrival I performed a six month check up on one heat pump system. I flushed and treated the water removal system, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet with electrical insecticide, then verified system safety and performance. I found the system to be operating the best it possibly can at this time given its age and the restriction on the indoor heat transfer media coil. Given the coil is beginning to deteriorate a cleaning is not recommended due to the potential of further damage happening to the heat transfer media coil. I spoke with the customer about my concerns and recommended a consultation to upgrade the equipment to something more efficient. Customer would like the office to reach out and schedule for the comfort specialist to come out.

Upon our arrival we spoke with the customer about their concerns with the system not cooling well. Performing our diagnostics we found that the system was pulling in hot attic air. When the previous coil repair was performed there was a good sized gap left around the exhaust vent pipe and the line set. Today we sealed these areas with duct board and proceeded to test the system finding everything operating within manufacture specifications at this time. If system does not reach desired temp customer will let us know.

Upon my arrival I evaluated 1 heat pump system. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications. Flushed and treated the water removal system. Cleaned the electrical cabinet and washed unit using water. Found the indoor heat exchanger and the airflow distribution system covered in debris. Recommended a cleaning but the customer chose to have the quotes emailed to him at this time. I also installed the iflo device, and accepted payment for it. I installed the iflo into the primary drain line, Kevin wanted it installed so that it injects into the primary drain pan but due to the thickness of the front panel the elbow fitting that comes with the iflo device is too short. I’ll check if we can do something about this. I did advise him that the cleaning of the indoor unit will help prevent drain line clogs.
