Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 heat pump system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, replaced the air filter, washed condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet then verified system safety and performance. I found everything performing to manufacture specifications at this time. Did speak with the customer about the bacterial growth present inside the air handler. They will let us know if and when they want to move forward with treatment.

Cleaned the electrical cabinet and washed unit using water. Found no issues at this time. No recommendations at this time. Customer wants us to take a look under the house to make sure master bedroom ductwork is intact. Too muddy to get under the house today. Office will be in contact to schedule a date and time.
Upon my arrival I evaluated 1 Lennox heat pump system. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications. Flushed and treated the water removal system. Cleaned the electrical cabinet and washed unit using water. Found the auxiliary heat kit to be not working. Upon my diagnosis I found the heat sequencer to be stuck closed, not giving power to the heating elements. Informed customer of my findings and customer chose the HD5A option. Replaced faulty heat sequencer, and tested system for performance and safety. Let dust burn off of heating elements to prevent smell/smoke. No other issues/recommendations at this time. System performing to manufacturer specifications at this time.
Elgin Heater service Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 straight electric heating system. Flushed and treated the water removal system then verified system safety and performance. Found the system performing to manufacture specifications at this time. Bacterial growth has started to form inside the air handler. Spoke with the customer about my concerns. They plan to be moving here in the next few months and do not wish to move forward with any options at this time. If the home sales before the next checkup customer would like to let the new home owner use this final checkup if they can.
Elgin Ac service Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 heat pump system. I found the system performing to manufacture specifications at this time. While on site I noticed it is time to replace the air filter and also found quite a bit of water next to the condenser. Further investigating this I found one of the timers for the sprinkler system has a crack in it. I showed this to the customer and with their approval I turned the water valve off.

Elgin Air conditioning service Upon my arrival I evaluated 2 carrier gas furnace systems. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications for both units. Flushed and treated the water removal system. Cleaned the electrical cabinet and cleaned off both flame sensors.. Found no issues at this time. No recommendations at this time
Elgin Mini split repair Upon my arrival I evaluated 2 Bryant heat pump systems. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications for both units. Found bacterial growth on heat transfer media coil caps and inside of both air handler units. Informed customer of my findings. Customer wants options for Solaris UV light protection installation emailed over to him along with pictures.
Elgin Heater service When I arrived I found that the outdoor voltage distribution system was stuck closed I replaced and tested the operation of the system and found it working properly. This repair was covered under full warranty because of the good repair he chose in the summer.

Elgin Heater tune up Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns of the system displaying error code 44 blower motor communication failure. Performing my diagnostics. I tested and found that we did have the proper DC voltage being supplied to the specialty air movement system indicating that our failure is within the air movement system itself. I spoke with the customer about my concerns went over a different repair options and advised on the high static pressure issues that we had prior. Customer did approve for the repair of the specialty movement system, and also approved to have the return air renovated to allow more airflow within the system. A return will be scheduled through the office.
Elgin Air conditioning repair Upon my arrival, customer was concerned that nothing was coming on. During my diagnosis, I found the auxiliary drain pan to be full of water as well as the water removal System pump to be clogged. presented customer with options for repair. Customer chose the HF3B option. Flushed and treated water removal system added bio protect and pan tablets to water removal system and auxiliary drain pan. Added bio protect to water removal pump pan. tested system for performance and safety. system operating to manufacturer specifications at this time.
Elgin Ac repair I performed the heating evaluation on 2 gas furnaces and a mini split. All system are operating properly at this time.
Elgin Mini split repair Upon my arrival i performed the furnace maintenance. Flushed and treated the water removal system, cleaned the flame sensor, checked safeties, verified proper fuel delivery pressures, checked for CO then verified safety and performance of the system. Found the system performing to manufacture specifications at this time. Did advise on customer getting a CO detector within the home.
