Performed a single system cooling maintenance on a 2019 Trane the ODT is 82°.Tested overall operation of equipment confirming the indoor was operational but the outdoor equipment was non-operational.Once operation was determined began diagnostic on the indoor equipment the filter 16x25x4 was gently used but not clogged the filters was not replaced on this visit.Blower motor was fully operational not showing any signs of being intermittent or dropping out.Blower wheel was inspected finding it to be dirty when a blower wheel gets dirty it minimizes the efficiency of equipment along with places a strain on equipment and parts which shortens the lifespan of both a quote has been provided to clean blower wheel.Inspected indoor evaporator coil finding it dirty as well when a indoor evaporator coil gets dirty it minimizes the efficiency along with affects the ability to properly heat/cool a quote has been provided to clean indoor evaporator coil.Inspected wires along with connections not find
Unit very low Freon. Older Goodman. Owner said someone was out a couple months ago and added Freon. I offered leak check. Comfort specialist will come out and give quote on replacing unit. Heat pump. Possibly schedule leak check. Owner wants price for new unit first.
DCM1 : A/C complete, replaced (1) 16x25x1 filter. System is fully functional and operating within manufacturer specifications at this time. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Temp split 18*. Photos and maintenance checklist attached. Recommend replacing filter more frequently to keep system clean and increase longevity of the system. Send payment link to homeowner.
Unknown reason for fault; system was operational when I arrived. Most likely fault was due to condensation pump. Need to schedule maintenance
Arrived to identify high temperature limit switch fault Identified and located debris in heat exchanger causing airflow to be diverted around the high temperature limit switch. Remove debris and conducted test to determine temperature at high temperature limit switch. Last time I conducted a test had temperatures in excess of 140° after removing debris test resulted in temperatures of less than 100° . System is fully functional
DCM1 complete; Heat; (1) F16251 replaced. ( photo attached ). System is fully functional. All components are operating within manufacturer specifications. Heat rise is within design tolerances. Thermostat setting of 79* is generally higher than normal operating temperatures, furnaces are sized to maintain a 70-72* indoor temp during heating mode.
DCM1 complete; Heat; (1) F16254 checked. System continually falls on high temp limit. Gas pressure in low heat 1.4. Temperature rise from return to nearest supply 30-35 degrees. Temperature at supply register is 101. Temperature at high temp limit switch 144. Tip limit switch design to open at 135°. Need to contact Trane.
DCM1 complete; AC; () F16254 replaced. System is fully functional. All components are operating within manufacturers specifications. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor conditions. AC checklist attached.
