Arrived to identify high temperature limit switch fault Identified and located debris in heat exchanger causing airflow to be diverted around the high temperature limit switch. Remove debris and conducted test to determine temperature at high temperature limit switch. Last time I conducted a test had temperatures in excess of 140° after removing debris test resulted in temperatures of less than 100° . System is fully functional
DCM1 complete; Heat; (1) F16251 replaced. ( photo attached ). System is fully functional. All components are operating within manufacturer specifications. Heat rise is within design tolerances. Thermostat setting of 79* is generally higher than normal operating temperatures, furnaces are sized to maintain a 70-72* indoor temp during heating mode.
DCM1 complete; Heat; (1) F16254 checked. System continually falls on high temp limit. Gas pressure in low heat 1.4. Temperature rise from return to nearest supply 30-35 degrees. Temperature at supply register is 101. Temperature at high temp limit switch 144. Tip limit switch design to open at 135°. Need to contact Trane.
DCM1 complete; AC; () F16254 replaced. System is fully functional. All components are operating within manufacturers specifications. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor conditions. AC checklist attached.
