Did not do maintenance Upon arrival customer show me AC unit that needed tuneup. Talking to the customer the customer to tell me his electric bills have been through the roof and he’s an electrical engineer. The capacitor was bad so he went and bought a new capacitor and installed it himself. Checked all the wires and all the wires were in the right spot and the new capacitor is reading right where it should be. I checked all components checked Freon levels in the compressor was not kicking on. I OHM out the compressor and the compressor is bad. The system is only four years old so I priced out a warranty compressor with Freon. The office is going to call the manufacturer to verify warranty and if anything changes or not under warranty the office will call and talk to the customer. if the system is not under warranty customer might want to think about replacing the system. This is per customer.
