Great service and speedy turn around

AC went out and was able to get someone out here on the same. The repair did require more work/repair but scheduling the second visit was easy and quick turn around. We use total air maintenance and it’s always worth the yearly plan and certain affordable.

Returned to check system #2. Refrigerant levels are within normal range and delta temperature is good. System is running well at this time. Explained benefits of iFlow since customer has had drain issues in the past and uses vinegar monthly. He will think about this. Both units have a supply of 59°

Upon arrival the system was not running. After inspection I found the drain line to be clogged. There is a lot of zooglia buildup in the drain. Cleared and flushed drain line with vacuum and also nitrogen. Flushed with hot water 5-7 liters. Added a union before the p-trap for easy access in the future. Highly recommend iFlow to help mitigate zooglia buildup and help prevent clogged drains. Customer declined at this time. Offered membership renewal and customer will hold off. Estimates added. Unit is now cooling.

System #2 was low on refrigerant. (TXV) Checked evap coil, blower fan, outdoor coil, and filter. Did a spot leak check on the system and didn’t get any hits. Customer agreed to add refrigerant (3lbs). Told the customer if this happens again we need to do a more in-depth leak check. Delta Temp is now 19.8° and refrigerant levels are within normal range.

Recall Drain line cleaning June 9/2023 Customer concerned about unit not cooling again. Unit had the drain line cleaning. Checked thermostat calibration and filter location. Checked blower motor operation and inspected equipment cabinet. Located the emergency drain pan full of water and float switch is tripped with water. Cleaned vacuumed drain pan and drain line. Flushed drain line with water and primed drain line. Checked drain line pitch and secure drain line in place. Recommend new safety surge protector on condenser unit to prevent voltage spikes and electrical failure on control board and compressor unit. Unit is cooling well and drains properly. Thank you for choosing total air.

Called out today due to no cooling. Upon arrival client stated when she got home from vacation the machine worked for a few hours then stopped. System kicked back on in the middle of the night. I found that the drain line is clogged and was intermittently tripping the float switch. Gave options for one time flush and go vs enrolling into a preventative maintenance plan and getting a drain solve treatment. Added drain solve to drains from the pan. Allowed that solvent to sit for 20 minutes before flushing with two gallons of hot water. Checked all electronics and motor components to ensure equipment is operating properly within manufacture specifications. Checked filter. Outside I removed the fan from the condenser and cleaned the coil from the inside out. Checked refrigerant pressures. Vacuumed drain line clear from outside port. Client stated that Performance air was out last year and added a few pounds of refrigerant. She called for a second opinion and that tech stated t

Complete installation of (1) condensate pump. We installed the new pump and ran copper through the attic inside the line-set cover to the outside for drainage. Cycle and tested pump for proper operation. Complete installation of (1) nest thermostat. Cycled the thermostat in all modes. Left system in good working order. All pictures are uploaded. Customer signed up for another year of maintenance. Thank you for choosing Total Air!

Complete no cool call. **Customer states the drain line keeps backing up. Customer just moved into this new home a few days ago. He is a current maintenance member but hasn’t got the chance to switch his membership over to this address. We will need to switch the maintenance to this address. There is a brand new HVAC system installed as the system and drain line are new. After inspection I found the drain line to be leveled incorrectly and is ran under the flooring which we can not access the line. The drain line travels at an incline going outside which will not work. Gravity fed drain lines needs 1/4” of pitch every 4 feet. This does not. We will have to run a new condensate pump system from the air handler to the exterior of the home to restore proper drainage. Customer signed off for the full condensate pump conversion. This will need 2 guys. (1) 25ft roll of copper. Customer is down until we can make the repair. *I sold a drain line clearing but this will need to be

Returned to replaced burned defrost board. Located short in y wire that caused board failure. I was able to jump y over to another wire to correct short. While cycling the system, I found the system running cooling when no cooling call was made and should be running heat mode at the condenser. I tried the other available wires in the bundle with no success. We will need to return to pull a new low voltage wire from airhandler to the condenser (carrier system). Wire will need to go straight up the wall and through the soffit. Job will take 2 techs and 2 to 3 hours to complete. Office to make sure techs have a way to secure the wire to the wall with clips. System bypassed in cooling mode for now. Heat will not function until wire pulled. Home owner prepaid wire pull today.

Arrived at customer's house for system inspection. On arrival customer showed me to 2 air handler systems. Checked system number 1. UV light was past change date. Brought this to customer's attention and suggest we change it. Customer agreed. Change out light and unit now working fine. Check under evaporator coil and evaporator coil was clean.. Unit was producing proper Delta T. Went to next air handler unit and UV light was also past date. Do not have replacement for this bulb on the truck but got unit information. Customer would like to change out Whenever we can get the bulb. Checked under evaporator coil and under evaporator coil was clean. Suggested to customer both of these lights be upgraded to a pure air UV light. Gave customer literature and created estimate. Next went outside to condenser's. Opened electric cabinets And tested all components. Capacitors within acceptable range. Contactors sending propper voltage. Vacuumed out both drain lines. Neither unit is currently equipp

Upon arrival checked motors, electrical components, and pressures on 2 rheem split closet systems. AH 1 AND 2 both upstairs. Upstairs IV bulb still on but needs replaced. Replaced UV bulb on larger rheem unit AH (both AH next to each other). Cleared draon line and DeltaT excellent. Recommend Surge protectors for both units. Added existing equipment and left systems in good operating condition.

I performed a maintenance. I checked pressures, electrical components and flushed drain line with cleaner. The warranty capacitor was below factory specs, replaced. I noticed the compressor is slightly noisy on start up. Need to keep an eye on this issue. I left the system in good working order..
