On arrival, the homeowner showed me the email she got from her HVAC system showing “outdoor communication fault code 179”. She also informed me there was a power outage the day before she received this email. I turned the system on and verified everything is operational. I believe the fault code on the system was due to the power outage the system had. I did find the drain line has some build up in it. I presented repair options to the homeowner and she chose to sign up on our gold maintenance plan. I then performed an A/C tune-up on the carrier infinity heat pump. Checked the electrical, mechanical and performance systems of the unit. Cleared, cleaned, flushed and treated the drain line and cleaned the exterior of the furnace. I did not find any issues. The system is operational at this time.
