Service diagnostic found that the condensation drain line was clogged. Water had backed up into the safety switch and shut down the condenser unit. I also found biological growth inside the air handler. I removed the safety switch from the drain line and tested the system. The system was running and cooling at 8-8.8 degrees of sub cooling. Options for repair were presented to the homeowner and they chose to have the drain line cleared. I cleared the drain line and flow tested the drain with water. I also treated the drain line. I the function tested the system and the system was operational. The system was running at the completion of service.
