Performed heater tune-up on a Carrier heat pump system. Checked the electrical, mechanical and performance systems of the unit. Cleared, cleaned, flushed and treated the drain line and cleaned the exterior of the air handler. Verified outdoor compressor wiring is secure and washed the outdoor coil. I did find one of the UV light has burnt up. I spoke with the homeowner and he chose to have it replaced. I replaced the UV bulb and cycled power at the thermostat. No other issues were found. The system is operational at this time.
