Performed heater check on a Carrier heat pump system. Checked electrical, mechanical, safety, and performance of the system. Some mold/mildew spots were found inside the air handler. Blower wheel is clean. Auxiliary heat kit is operational and is running at normal amperage. Filter was dirty and was changed out with a new filter supplied by the customer. Drain line was cleared and treated. Condenser fan motor is showing signs of overheating. Condenser capacitor was in normal range. Electrical connections are tight and the contactor on the condenser is in good condition. Condenser coil was cleaned. System was running at the time of departure.
