On arrival, I found the emergency water safety switch tripped due to a restricted drain line. I removed the clog inside the drain line and flushed and tested the primary drain line and primary drain pan with a drain treatment. Everything is working at this time. I inspected the indoor drain pan and noticed lots of gunk had solidified onto the pan. As the cooling system makes condensation it picks up any dirt and dust from the filter bypass and gets trapped inside the drain line. This will then restrict the drain from flowing properly. To help prevent future buildup and clogs, I recommend installing our Stage 3 Breathe Easy system, which will help keep the drain pan and coil clean from dirt and dust. I also recommended upsizing the primary drain line to a larger diameter pipe. Doing so will help prevent breakdowns due to a restricted drain system.
