I have been in my attic adding Ethernet lines and checking for duct leaks, these guys had to replace a long run duct that collapsed, remove the old unit and reinstall the new unit. They spent the day working away at it and by evening we had cool air flowing in our house again. They cleaned up after themselves and laid down paper and drop cloths to keep our house clean. Great Job.

Provided maintenance on equipment, I found system low on charge. Inspected indoor/outdoor coils and found no signs of any leakage. Added 2.8 lbs to system and verified good operations. System is operating fine at this time.
The true discharge line had a whole rub in it from touching the bottom of the case. I brazed the leak shut and charge the unit back to factory specifications. The unit shut down on current overload and the compressor over amped. The compressor has been damaged from the Freon leak and needs to be replaced. They have some cooling. I have it locked out in quiet mode at 50%.
Downstairs unit was not cooling due to a tripped float switch safety device. The line was clogged. Approval was given to clear line out. Unit upstairs is also not cooling and was found with the compressor and evaporator coil frozen. Frozen coils can occur due to improper airflow or a refrigerant issue and can lead to expensive repairs.. System is from 2009, considering new system install replacement is adviced. Prior company was out a few weeks ago and there is a list of recommended repairs on this system. I have left the unit on fan on only to help thaw out the coil. System downstairs is cooling at departure. Install estimate has been scheduled for later this afternoon.
Spoke to customer over diag on day of visit. Had questions about refrigerant leak sealer products, and low refrigerant .
The unit had a failed outdoor fan motor. I checked over the unit and found the outdoor fan motor had been wired incorrectly to the capacitor and was sending voltage to the compressor start windings. I fix the wiring and replace the 825 outdoor fan motor. The unit had been suffering from high starting amperage. Returned and replaced the compressor and charge the unit back to factory specifications. The units operating properly at this time.
I checked over the system. Checked all the details on the fault codes verified strong electrical supply to the unit no loose connections or breaker issues. The driver test tested good. The compressor was tested at 15% and was close to over amperage. The compressor needs replaced.
