Homeowner said that they do have allergies and we’re open to hearing about the Reme halo so I gave them some information and they want to do a little homework before they pull the trigger but seemed very interested. Preformed winter tune up on package unit installed this year, system is running within manufacturer specs. The homeowner doesn’t use heat at all but we still checked everything and made sure everything was good. Arrived to home and spoke with homeowner about her situation, I found that the tstat was blank and the fuses were popped. When I replaced the fuses to diagnose the issue they popped immediately due to a seized up compressor. She needed an estimate today but we couldn’t get Ryan out immediately so I got measurements and Ryan is doing a phone estimate. Unit is not running at departure.
Performed a platinum call home check and heating. The unit is operating properly.
The thermostat was blank and poorly mounted to the wall. I re-mounted the thermostat. I found a 30 amp fuse was blown in the disconnect. I checked for shorts and bad capacitors. I found loose leads in the disconnect terminal blocks. I tightened the leads and checked operations. The unit is operating properly.
