I needed to redo entire AC system and change location. Ideal Air was able to redesign it and address all my concern. They are highly skilled and professional. Job was done within the timeframe and original set. They went above and beyond making sure the house is protected from any construction dust or scratches.
Alex was super knowledgeable, friendly, and very fast with the repair. He also let me know about other potential issues that may come with the unit in the future. Thank you Ideal Energy for the amazing service. Looking forward to working with you again!
AC went out last night, so I called Ideal Air early in the morning and Matt came out in the afternoon and got it up and running in no time. Great price and service. Highly recommend!
Matthew was very friendly and helpful. We always have a great experience with ideal energy!
Matt displayed professional appearance and conduct. Seasonal maintenance identified several items that should be addressed on a seven year old system. Based on interactions with many various contractors, I have confidence in Matt's diagnosis, solutions, and work. Rating "cost / pricing of service" is subjective sans a known cost for the same work from another contractor. Therefore, I will omit that rating.
Camari Douglas did an amazing job. He was very professional. When he was done he explained everything he did so that I could understand it. Very nice young man.
We had the pleasure having Matthew service our AC unit. He was friendly, professional, respectful and impeccable work ethic. He took plenty of pictures of what was wrong and recommended the fixes. Just an awesome experience with such great spirit, thanks Matthew :-)
I replaced compressor with own compressor, and I also replaced outdoor filter dryer. Pressure tested equipment and verified good vacuum. Re-charged system with 8lbs 1oz and I added 12oz to adjust charge. System is now operating as it should.
The suction line was sweating dripping into the filter. But the main problem was the condensate was clogged at the Y connection under the sink. Cleared the condensate and the unit draining properly.

Verified zone three master bedroom damper motor is bad. Unfortunately this is an April air and it’s not a serviceable part and would need to be completely replaced. The replacement would be a Honeywell that is serviceable if it has a future issue. I found the unit ducted incorrectly, compromising the systems, efficiency and capacity. I left a proposal for the ductwork, replacing the supply and return Plenum and tapping them from the proper locations to achieve unit efficiency and longevity.
Unit. It cooling, found that 240v are not present at the disconnect. Traced voltage back and at the electrical panel all breakers appear to have voltage present. Appears that there is a voltage drop somewhere between the electrical box and the condenser unit outside. I have recommended to contact an electrician.

I established ac overcool max to 2 degrees overshoot, I also adjusted temp on differential to 1.5 degrees and put call for 2nd stage at a 3 degree offset. I set fan speed to 48k and tested equipment. System is operating fine, and monitored active dehumidification during operations.
