Outstanding

Chris Martinez put 110 percent effort into figuring out my intermittent heat pump problem and fixing it as cost-effectively as possible. He was terrific! On another note, I really appreciate Ideal's constant communication about appointments and technician arrival times. Thank you for valuing my time, Ideal.

Professional and Friendly from Start to Finish

A couple of months ago Ideal replaced my insulation, and air sealed my attic. Yesterday they were back to install an ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilation) system. Everything Idea does is best in class. They went above and beyond to help me get the HOA Architectural Request approved, quickly scheduled the installation once the project was approved, and everyone on the work crew was absolutely delightful. Big recommend for Ideal from me.

Fast, Friendly, Thorough -- and Provide Multiple Options

Ideal is, well, idea. Seriously. The response to my original RFQ was fast, as was scheduling. The technician was right on time and really cool about explaining everything to me so I understood my options (he provided Good, Better, Best). All around great experience. Highly recommend.

Performed cool home maintenance on both 2009 Day and Night systems.found capacitor on master bed unit low, replaced capacitor. Both systems operating properly at time of departure. Homeowner declined to renew at this time being that homeowner will be looking to replace systems within the next year.

The comfort control was giving faults, indicating low pressures or bad airflow. I checked the condenser and found it only holding vapor and signs of a very big leak. The unit began to give the homeowners issues during the heating season. I recommended homeowners get proposals for the unit to be replaced due to the fact it ran in the winter low on oil, causing possible damage to the compressor and components. I left proposals for projected repairs as well.

Performed A/C check up on both 2009 Trane Hp splits systems. Found both systems PSI levels reading low, check for signs of a leak or oil found no visible leak. Also recommend some repairs on each system. Advised homeowner that would be good to be proactive on replacing systems due to age and condition. Homeowner interested in estimates on new systems. Will schedule a tech flip for Comfort specialist once both homeowners can arrange time to both be present during appointment.

Upon arrival, I found that just the blower motor was running while the thermostat was calling for cooling. I found the thermostat intermittently does not send the wire signal and only the G signal. I replaced the thermostat and verified operations. The unit is operating properly at this time. I did not offer a maintenance plan due to this being a commercial property.

The unit on the front of the building had a blower motor that was installed improperly. I found the three phase motor was being powered single phase until the compressor contactor was closed then would supply three phase power. The motor was extremely over Amping 10.7/2.3. The motor pulley was not adjusted properly and was turned completely in causing the motor to spin the blower wheel too fast. I adjusted the pulley to the proper static and amp draw. I rewired the motor to receive three phase power when called upon. I established once the air flow was corrected. The unit was under charged by 4 1/2 pounds. I charge the unit back to match the charge church and conditions. The unit is not operating properly at this time.
