A couple of months ago Ideal replaced my insulation, and air sealed my attic. Yesterday they were back to install an ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilation) system. Everything Idea does is best in class. They went above and beyond to help me get the HOA Architectural Request approved, quickly scheduled the installation once the project was approved, and everyone on the work crew was absolutely delightful. Big recommend for Ideal from me.

Ideal is, well, idea. Seriously. The response to my original RFQ was fast, as was scheduling. The technician was right on time and really cool about explaining everything to me so I understood my options (he provided Good, Better, Best). All around great experience. Highly recommend.

Performed cooling inspection x2. No issues found. Homeowner would like to renew membership in July.
Performed A/C inspection. Start up of compressor is in n the high side, it is recommended to add an I rush kit to lower amperage. This will help the compressor start up. The system is cooling upon departure.

Was able to get ahold of Trane customer support and the ending result is that the homeowner will need to reach out to internet provider. The thermostat is working fine. Both units cooling at time of departure. Also air purification system information is attached to the invoice.
Performed cooling inspection. Inspected coils for any signs of leakage and none found. Refrigerant pressures are on the lower end of the designed range but are within it. Compared to last visit and are about the same. Today’s sub cool was 7 degrees and the temperature split was 18 degrees. System working within specifications at this time.

Performed a membership visit in cooling. I discovered an issue with the system that the compressor would not run when prompted on check charge cool. I reset the thermostat and the issue persist. I reset the indoor and outdoor system. The system would not run the compressor in check charge cooling. I checked operations in cooling setting all the zones to a low point and the compressor ran and operated properly. I reset the power to the indoor and outdoor and checked in check charge cooling. The unit began to operate properly. I consulted with Trane tech-support and was advised it was a glitch in the system, but if the issue returns reload driver data to newest update. I left proposal for the homeowner if the system acts up to reload data. Homeowner concerned of noise coming from the condenser. The sound is normal. System is old and the noise it is making is the harmonic sound of the compressor. Unit is cooling at time of visit. A maintenance visit is scheduled on May 13th for a full evaluation of the system.

I replaced the blower wheel and the unit is operating properly at this time.
Performed a membership visit on the system. I found the service ports have failing valves and beginning to leak Freon.
