Performed Cool Home heating maintenance on three split heat pump systems. No found issue at time of service. Did reboot and recalibrate thermostat In master bedroom, thermostat functioning properly. All three systems operating properly at manufacturer specifications. Homeowner will look over membership plans and reach out to office to sign up for renewal.
Performed cool home maintenance on Trane split system. No found issues at time of visit. Do recommend adding float safety switch to system. System operating properly at time of departure.
Zone two zone motor has bad gears and is not able to close. This is an April air and the Honeywell is not compatible. Need to order the right motor and return. I returned and replaced the whole damper. I cycled it through to verify it’s operating properly multiple times. The unit is operating properly at this time.

I ran a driver test and outdoor fan test and they tested good. The compressor is noisy and is losing resistance and needs replaced homeowners have partial cooling at this time. Replaced faulty zone motor for zone three
The master bedroom zone three. The homeowner had the thermostat switched off. I cycled the thermostat multiple times and did not get a fault from the thermostat. I checked the control wiring at the board and did not find any issues and could not get the system to fault I jumped, the board multiple times with the thermostat leads to see if it would not prompt cooling. The unit is operating properly at this time. I told the homeowner if it faults again just leave it in fault so we can diagnose it.

The breaker was tripped for the condenser. I found the capacitor for the compressor testing bad and the contactor switch burnt. I reset the breaker and checked operations. The compressor is over Amping from the bad capacitor and had extremely high starting amps. Recommend replacing the system due to its age. I offered to have a comfort specialist come give proposals on system replacement. The homeowner said they will call in.
