After getting quotes from 5 different vendors I went with Ideal because they were the most recommended in my neighborhood and they had a decent price for insulation in the house. They quoted me a much larger scope with a new AC unit and when I declined that they were not pushy. I like how knowledgeable they are about trying to make a home more green and saving me money. If I needed HVAC work I will call them. Insulation robe t went smoothly until tech fell through garage ceiling- bigger then a foot and so fortunate he was not hurt, they handled it professionally and timely. The repairs were made and they finished the job. I would hire them again for sure.

Returned and replaced outdoor fan motor verified operation. The motor and unit is operating quietly now.
Register needing replacement is return grill 16x 30. On today’s call we have water leaking on all 4 corners of the return grille. No water is detected inside the ducting. There is no attic access. This is our second time out here for the same issue. Both service calls have been complementary at no additional charge. The elbow was resealed with tar on all 4 sides. Some damage to drywall and paint. This call will be passed on to the office for follow up.
I checked the unit and found it operating within factory specifications. I checked with the homeowner about the time of the issue and checked her thermostat programming. The homeowner was unaware of the thermostat program operating in the background and switch the unit back up to 62° from the 70° that she had set it. I went back through, the thermostat programming and showed her how to disable it and the unit unit is operating properly
Performed inspection in heating. Found a high external static pressure and homeowner brought up unbalanced temperature in rooms. I offered an appointment with one of our efficiency specialists but declined at this time and will wait to see if situation worsens. I have also recommended a less restrictive option for filter replacements as the current one is a bit restrictive and is adding on to the system working harder. There are allergies known of within home so I offered an alternative, an air purifier system. Information has been attached.

Performed a membership visit in cooling. The unit has a failing outdoor fan motor and is starting to whine. The homeowner had brought this up on a previous maintenance, but I could not re-create the sound while I was doing the maintenance. The unit is out of labor warranty, but the homeowner did, tell me they had the issue while the unit was under warranty. I ordered the outdoor fan motor under warranty.

Unbalanced temperatures on supply vents to kitchen , entrance and living room areas. I have recommended a full evaluation of ductwork. Existing insulation is spotty/ lower and higher in some places more than others. Existing ductwork have fans built in line to drag air across to main home areas. 2 kitchen vents are supplied by master bedroom unit. Others in that area are supplied by main home unit. The fan in line energizes with the main home unit when it should energize with the master bedroom unit. This causes the vents to have different temperature air supplied.
