Excellent company! Their customer service was impeccable. It started with Rachael, who initially answered my call, to Chris the technician, all the way to Alex one of the owners who personally called to follow-up post service. Rachael, the call taker, to my surprise made attempts to walk me through some troubleshooting steps. She was excellent. She had the technician Chris call me back in short order. Chris walked me through in-dept troubleshooting step, and it was obvious he knew how to troubleshoot my problem and was willing to do it over the phone. After about 10 to 15 minutes of phone troubleshooting, the heater and thermostat came back to life. Super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable guy. Amazing! I thought it was over at that point. Nope, one of the owners Alex called my wife and I personally to double check the work and customer service. I obviously expressed my sincere appreciation for all of his employee and for his service. Here's the kicker; Ideal Air Conditioning did not charge me for the time they all spent with me over the phone. Nothing! It's hard to find a company that provides this type of customer experience and service. Amazing company!

Great service call today. The house has four heat pump split units. One mini split for the wine cellar and one mini split for the garage. Customer Michelle said we are only checking before heat pump split units. We Did take a look at the wine cellar unit as well under customer consideration and everything is working great. First, we started with the master bedroom. This is located in an exterior closet with the condenser outside near the closet door. Upon initial inspection, we found a dirty blower wheel. Temperature split look good. At the condenser, we found the capacitor to be near failing. Next, we moved into the bar room area. This is a horizontal heat pump. The attic access is in the hall closet. The shelf is removable to allow access into the unit. This unit we found everything to be working properly at this time. We did advise customer that there are two filters on each side of the wall. Along with supply vents that are covered by wooden bookcase. Customer stated they don’t k

Performed inspection in heating. No issues found at this time.
Need to reschedule maintenance. Was only able to complete partial inspection. There is no gas making it to the unit, main home gas valve appears to be shut off. Gas to unit needs to be on in order to complete maintenance visit. Also while on site did get to catch a bit of the blower motor operating and can hear bearings worn out and does not spin freely. Spoke to customer about the age of the unit and to consider also unit replacement VS repairs done/ needed. They will speak about it and contact us in a few days to either schedule a comfort advisor for more information on new equipment or reschedule the maintenance. Returned to complete heating inspection. No other know issues besides what has been spoken about. Parts will be ordered and the office will reach out to schedule return for repairs.
Performed inspection on 2 units. Repairs and recommendations are attached to this invoice. It is advised to also consider replacing older unit due to its age and amount of work needed. Air leakage was found around the collars, and air flow static pressures read high, this is an indication of possibly needing duct modifications as well. If replacing equipment I highly encourage to have an overall audit performed of the insulation and ducting. Both units operating at time of departure.
I checked all three systems. The mini split for the Office is producing a poor temperature split and possibly has a leak. Recommend getting proposals on replacing it. The installation of the unit does not look like it was done professionally. The unit on the master bedroom side is suffering from excessively high return air static pressure. Would recommend some sort of ductwork modification to remedy the issue. This unit suffers from excessively high starting amperage and recommending a soft in rush to help prolong the life of the unit On the main house unit over the garage. I found the insulation for the coil door missing and should be replaced. this unit also suffers from the high starting amperage and recommend a soft inrush kit

Found unit on a low pressure lockout. After resetting equipment tested in both heating and cooling and refrigerant pressures appear normal at this time. This is a rental property and landlord arrived about a week ago and since they turned the heat on, it has not satisfied temperature. I attempted to recreate issue but did not reoccur. System checked out good while on site. Issue could be intermittent soi advised landlord that if it persisted or worsened they would need to call us back out at time of failure. System is operating at departure.
