Excellent company! Their customer service was impeccable. It started with Rachael, who initially answered my call, to Chris the technician, all the way to Alex one of the owners who personally called to follow-up post service. Rachael, the call taker, to my surprise made attempts to walk me through some troubleshooting steps. She was excellent. She had the technician Chris call me back in short order. Chris walked me through in-dept troubleshooting step, and it was obvious he knew how to troubleshoot my problem and was willing to do it over the phone. After about 10 to 15 minutes of phone troubleshooting, the heater and thermostat came back to life. Super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable guy. Amazing! I thought it was over at that point. Nope, one of the owners Alex called my wife and I personally to double check the work and customer service. I obviously expressed my sincere appreciation for all of his employee and for his service. Here's the kicker; Ideal Air Conditioning did not charge me for the time they all spent with me over the phone. Nothing! It's hard to find a company that provides this type of customer experience and service. Amazing company!

Performed 1st year cool home visit on Bosch hp package unit. System operating properly at manufacturer standards. Homeowner declined membership renewal, will do A/C check ups on system.
I found the breaker was tripped for the condenser. In the breaker panel it was missed labeled as furnace. I reset the breaker and checked the capacitors the compressor capacitors tested good I started the unit and the compressor tried to run and was grinding and was running at 143 A. Recommend replacing the system due to its age and Freon is discontinued. Brian is scheduled to come out and give the homeowner proposals for replacement
Performed and AC check on the system. Upon arrival I found the outdoor fan motor was running backwards, and the static pressure was extremely high with a return of .54. I removed the air filter and found the unit is operating with a 16 inch return and should be a minimum of an 18 for the size of the unit. The homeowners have Hot bedrooms over the garage and the master bedroom. These bedrooms have high pressure and close the doors when the unit is running. I recommended jump ducts and adding a return. I found in the attic. The insulation is in adequate and there is bat insulation that is not fully seated , the outdoor fan motor has a bad capacitor and was wired in properly. The contactor was burnt. I replaced the contactor and capacitor for the outdoor fan motor and wired it back properly. The unit is operating properly for conditions.

Performed an AC check on the system. I found the indoor coil was dirty. The thermostat leads were sun rotten, and the capacitor for the blower motor tested bad. I cleaned the coil, replace the capacitor and repaired the thermostat leads.
