I think Matthew did an excellent job, I'm not an expert and I didn't watch him but by every indication he was thorough and skillfully fulfilled the entire inspection. The receipt and "check form" were informative and appreciated. The prices seem to be what I would call, "$$". Of course, I have been using ideal Air Conditioning for many, many years and have done only minor price checking. I hope the "Cool Membership" proves to be worth it for me also. Thank You.

I performed a maintenance on the mini split in heating. The unit is operating properly at this time. I spoke with the homeowner about his main house unit and he still has a contract with another company and was asking me about the Hard start the other company installed, I told him about the advanced soft starter and it would be helpful for his system, being zoned and single stage and would provide short cycle protections as well as advanced starting capabilities.
Customer signed the proposal for the OEM motor but then called in and wanted to cancel the OEM replacement.
I checked the unit and found the capacitors are good and the compressor has bad windings and was making mechanical noises and went out on IP over amp lock rotor rated 68.2 tested 117.2
Performed a membership visit in heating. The furnace is operating properly at this time. I change the homeowners filters and set them in the hall to remind them. They’ve been changed. I looked at his filters that he had in the garage that were washable and I do recommend just throwing them out
Upon arrival found thermostat set higher than inside temp so system was not operating. I set temp on thermostat down, system began to operate. I then checked system components and pressures. Compressor, fan motor and capacitor all check out fine and operating within range. Pressures and temp split in home good. Monitored system operation for a while. Found no issues at time of visit, problem would not duplicate. System is operating properly at time of departure.

The thermostat was off-line and set for 90°. I reset the thermostat and it came back online I spoke with the homeowner he said earlier in the day it was still online and he moved it up because it was not cooling. I checked over the system and is operating properly. The capacitor test and the motors are within amp range. The compressor does have very high starting amps so we added a true soft in rush to prolong the life of the system and prevent future issues.
Installed new 60amp disconnect box. System operating properly at time of departure.
